Timelines and Deadlines

We will accept Statements of Interest on a rolling basis; however, applicants interested in proposing a fellowship for the 2012-13 academic year are strongly encouraged to submit applications in the course of the autumn (see detailed schedule below) in order to maximize the opportunity for brainstorming and feedback from the Gray Center.

• By November 21, 2011:  Submit Statement of Interest.  See Guidelines.
• November 21, 2011 – January, 2012:  Collaborative Brainstorming Phase leading to invitation to submit final application.
• By February 8, 2012:  Submit final applications.
• February 8 – March 25, 2012:  Consultations on final applications as needed.
• Early Spring Quarter 2012:  2012-13 Residential Fellowships selected and announced.

Please note that this is a general timeline.  Statements of Interest and applications will be accepted and evaluated on a rolling basis.  Where time is of the essence in terms of scheduling a fellowship, we will do what we can to allow for selection outside of this timeline.
