Mark Philip Bradley (Bernadotte E. Schmitt Professor of History and the College, Faculty Director of the Pozen Family Center for Human Rights), one of the core organizers of What is an Artistic Practice of Human Rights?, will be in conversation with Chicago artist Amber Ginsburg to discuss the role of artistic expression in the development of global human rights.
The Gray Center is excited to inaugurate our Sidebar series with a discussion between Gwen Allen (Associate Professor of Art History San Francisco State University) and Zachary Cahill (Gray Center Curator). Sidebar is a new series of conversations and events hosted by the Gray Center. This edition will focus on the ways in which artists use the magazine as "an alternative medium and experimental space."
