Presented by the Department of Classics as part of the ongoing Poetry and Classics Worshop series, Artist James McGarrell and poet Rosanna Warren will share their collaborative version of “The Odyssey”.  Rosanna Warren will read a selection of her poems derived from Classical sources, including the sequence “Odyssey” inspired by McGarrell’s suite of monotypes, “Orbiana Oliveto;” James McGarrell will present slides of his work.  The reading will conclude with a discussion between artist and poet on the nature of collaboration.
