Ellen Tracy: 2015-16 Gray Center Intern

Sep 30, 2015

Ellen Tracy just began her third undergraduate year at the University of Chicago where she studies in the Fundamentals department, an interdisciplinary humanities program. Her current coursework involves tracking the category of the ineffable and its various appearances in philosophy, religion, literature and art. Ellen spent the summer interning at X-TRA magazine, a contemporary arts journal based in Los Angeles and aiding the publications department of the first Chicago Architectural Biennial. While in Los Angeles she had time both to pursue an ongoing interest in the architecture of Las Vegas, and to develop a new fascination with the infrastructure of Southern California. Ellen can also be found behind the counter of Cobb, a student run coffee-shop at the university.
