SIDEBAR welcomes Gray Center Mellon Collaborative Fellows Patrick Jagoda (University of Chicago Department of English) and Thenmozhi Soundararajan (activist, transmedia artist and theorist) in conversation about their fellowship project, Imagining Futures.

Along with their other collaborator, Melissa Gilliam (University of Chicago Medicine), Jagoda and Soundararajan used Imagining Futures as an opportunity to consider various ways we might be able to look at futurism as a way to build community and power. As part of their project, a survey is being conducted that seeks "to harness our greatest weapons against this pessimism: our imagination."
